King Faisal Preschool’s goal is to raise intellectual students using national and international educational programs.
King Faisal Preschool promotes students to develop an excellent educational background, using the foundations laid down by the late King Faisal Bin-Abdulaziz: faith, knowledge, and work. These foundations encourage students to take part in establishing a secure and peaceful world through understanding and respecting other cultures.
King Faisal Preschool values the Arabic Islamic culture; it also takes into consideration the core meaning of open-mindedness through preparing students to become successful learners and serious inquirers about the world.
The preschool educational philosophy is that of the Primary Years Program (PYP). The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) aims to develop critical thinking and research skills. This curriculum recommends that all educators become active, competitive, lifelong learners who are open-minded and willing to understand that everyone is entitled to a point of view.
The preschool educational vision is to create a community based on respect, individual differences, problem solving, and cooperation.
We aim to have all students in our school feel secure and safe. We emphasize that bullying, name calling, and acts of violence are unacceptable. We encourage students to share and respect one another while learning and playing.
The preschool day starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. If you are facing any difficulties regarding transportation, please contact the administration for assistance.
If your child is absent due to sickness or any other reason, please be sure to inform the preschool of the absence of your child.
Nutritional Education/Food preparation
KFS preschool supports a healthy and balanced diet and encourages a healthy lifestyle. Breakfast at school is healthy and balanced and our food activities are too.
For some events and celebrations such as the Saudi Arabian National Day, the school prepares traditional healthy foods.
The Primary Years Program (PYP) develops the character of the child and allows the child to achieve a balance between 10 IB learner profiles. The IB works to shape the child to become respectful, more independent, self-aware, disciplined, and to understand other perspectives, rights and feelings.
In order to shape his behavior through the IBO environment, natural and logical methods are used. Such methods present the child with the correct direction, and behavior is shaped so that the child models the following learner profiles:
